In the ever-evolving world of technology, I’ve always believed in the power of innovation to drive change. As the CEO and Head of Operations at 01 Technologies, I’ve dedicated myself to developing transformative tech solutions that help businesses navigate the complexities of the digital age.
My journey into technology began with a fascination for how things work behind the scenes. I started by diving deep into web development, studying HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Python through SoloLearn and further refining my skills at Lagos Data School. This foundation sparked a passion that would shape my career.
Over the years, I worked in various roles—each teaching me valuable lessons that I would carry forward. At just age 19 i joined SplishPay as a full-stack developer, I had the opportunity to design and build applications that streamlined financial transactions, giving me a front-row seat to the power of tech in reshaping industries. It was there that I realized how impactful well-designed software could be for businesses and their customers.
At the same time, I was cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit, founding Orange House Restaurant in 2021 at Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology. What started as a small venture quickly grew into a campus staple, with the restaurant becoming so iconic that a bus stop was named after it just months after opening. That experience taught me the value of understanding people’s needs and delivering a product that resonates with them.
In 2021, I also launched Lemon Digital, a digital store in aimed at providing easier access to mobile phones and computers. This venture was born out of a desire to break the reliance on Lagos’ Computer Village and bring convenience.
But the journey that truly defined my career came when I founded 01 Technologies in 2022. From the very beginning, I knew that 01 Technologies had the potential to make a real difference. What started as a self-funded startup has since grown into a thriving company, serving over 100 clients across various industries. Our flagship product, 01POS, is empowering businesses to streamline their operations and increase revenue, and I’m proud of how far we’ve come in such a short time.
At 01 Technologies, we’re not just about creating software—we’re about shaping the future. My vision extends beyond simply innovating for the present; it’s about leveraging technology to open up new opportunities, particularly in Africa, where I believe the future of tech can unlock immense potential.
Every step of this journey has reinforced my belief in the transformative power of technology. From my early days of learning to develop software to leading a growing tech company, I’ve always kept my focus on the bigger picture: using technology to drive sustainable change and empower people, businesses, and communities.
And this is just the beginning. The future holds incredible promise, and I’m excited to continue exploring the possibilities and pushing boundaries with technology.
